As the Coronavirus pandemic takes hold, I feel it is important to let you know Primrose Vale’s plans at this challenging time.

Unless the current advise changes dramatically which seems increasingly unlikely, our Easter trail will no longer be running, and our seasonal cafe will not open until deemed safe and sensible to do so. We are focusing on serving the local community with our produce through the shop as best we can through these challenging times.

We intend to keep our Opening hours are as normal (9-5 Mon-Sat 10-4 Sun), and we have no reports of shortages from our suppliers – aided by the fact so many are local – though we may take a day or two to respond to unusual demand patterns.

Staff are of course following all the recommendations regarding hygiene – washing hands and sanitising surfaces, and maintaining social distancing, reporting any health issues and isolation if necessary as per government recommendations. We also ask any customers visiting the shop to work with us to keep us all healthy. Our WC will be kept door open as a handwash facility for customers when arriving and departing the shop. As such we will not have a toilet available on site for customers.

We are requesting that payments aremade by card, contactlessly wherever possible.

As restrictions continue we are exploring options to supply our local community with produce from the shop – this may involve local deliveries to those self isolating or an order and collection service with minimal contact. This will depend on what we are able to manage, however we will keep you posted here…

Many thanks
