Thank you…
Thanks to all those that attended our Halloween Trail and Pumpkin picking in 2021. We hope you all enjoyed yourselves! We’ll leave this up for all those interested for 2022 – I’m sure all will be on a similar pattern!
2021 Halloween Trail…
We are pleased to announce a return for our ever-popular Halloween trail, and new for 2021 we are also offering Pumpkin Picking! The two activities can be combined on the same day, but please be aware the main road bisects the two sites.
Pumpkin Trail…
The trail opens from 22nd October until 31st October.
The pandemic has given us lots of opportunities to look at how we do things, so there will be a few changes.

The Trail is Ticketed
Tickets must be purchased in advance for specific time slots. In 2019 we reached capacity more than once and customer experience was diminished – timed tickets will eliminate this, plus keep numbers on the farm at sensible levels.
The trail is suitable for children of all ages, but most enjoyed by those between 3 and 15, our trail takes you around the farm to discover various challenges, tasks and puzzles. It’s a great way to spend a few hours, out in the fresh air over the half term – and there’s even a small treat at the end!
We have thousands of home grown pumpkins for sale too at the shop. (for our separate PYO Pumpkin event see below)
Hot drinks and light refreshments will be available from the Potting Shed Cafe, with seating in our marquee.
Farm Trail Times
Halloween Farm Trail from 9am – 4pm (last entry)
Shop Open from 9am – 5pm
Sorry, no dogs permitted on the trail or the pumpkin fields.
NB: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy footwear is recommended – We won’t close for bad weather, but be prepared for mud! Pushchairs that can cope with grass are normally fine in all but the wettest conditions, but there will be areas you cannot enter.
For those of you who are nervous: there may be some dark areas, but we are not out to scare you!

Pumpkin Picking
After the success of last year’s PYO pumpkin experience, we are running a separate ticketed option to enter our PYO fields and pick a pumpkin. There is a charge to enter, (also ticketed, timed entry) but the cost will be redeemable in pumpkins – in contrast with some other farms! Wheelbarrows are available for hire, and you can get a few photos with our giant pumpkin!
Pumpkin Field Location
Our Pumpkin Field is located to the East of the A46 Shurdington Road, on THE OPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROAD FROM THE FARM SHOP. Parking is available there – Please watch for signs on approach.
Pumpkin picking will be subject to availability (which is looking good this year!) Just be aware if booking early for a later date, we aim to run out on the 31st, so don’t leave picking too late!
The pumpkins are where they grew – that means straggly vines, soil, and some weeds too. Come prepared – vines can have prickles, and there may be a few small nettles in patches – so gloves are highly recommended!
Sorry, no dogs permitted on the trail or the pumpkin fields.
The Farm Shop
Farm shop and pumpkin sales (not PYO pumpkins) open as normal (no admission fee!)
Shopping? Regardless of how busy the car park gets, the shop remains relatively quiet… if you are just shopping, don’t be deterred – we keep some easily accessible parking spaces available for you!
