Unless the current coronavirus advise changes dramatically, our Easter trail will no longer be running. We are focusing on serving the local community with our produce through the shop as best we can through these challenging times…
Hopefully you will be able to come and join us for some the fun in the fresh air during the Easter holidays. We plan to be open 10am – 4pm Daily from Friday 3rd April – Sunday 19th April 2020!
Our Easter trail runs each year over the 2 weeks of the Gloucestershire Easter holidays. Suitable for children of all ages, but most enjoyed by those between 3 and 13, Its quieter than our Halloween trail, and great fun for all ages.
Due to the current Coronavirus concerns our plans for 2020 are under constant review, and may need to change at short notice…
Currently we do still plan to run a modified trail – with 10 challenges around the farm. However they will all be hands off activities, with no need to share equipment. Pre- school and school age trails will be combined (partly due to the continuing wet conditions making some areas of the farm inaccessible). This also means that there will be a reduction in price (actual reduction to be confirmed) but there will still be a small treat for all participants, though options to choose will be limited.
We will not be offering clipboards and pencils this year, so if you wish to record your answers (not essential), please bring your own!
All ages are catered for – you can pick and choose the activities most suitable for your group – adults go free with a participating child. Just remember to wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for early spring (all types of weather are possible, and there may be mud!). If you have any questions give us a call. We look forward to seeing you soon. Hot drinks and light refreshments will be available too with seating in our marquee or outdoors.
NB: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Sturdy footwear is recommended – We won’t close for bad weather, but be prepared for being on a farm! The trail is generally suitable for most robust pushchairs in all but the worst conditions. As the trail is amongst our fruit growing areas, no dogs are permitted on the trail.
