We are looking for a key Assistant / Supervisor to join our small friendly team. The role involves both supervisory and general sales duties in the shop and café (as it slowly reopens), covering for the manager in his absence.  We expect the successful candidate to develop a responsibility for elements of the administration of the shop, predominantly ordering and invoice management. Due to the seasonal nature of our business you may be working in a team of 2, or supervising up to 10 seasonal staff. Plus there are constantly new challenges in these unusual times!

The role offers varied retail and café work, from customer service to processing deliveries, daily routine ordering and stock rotation. Due to the nature of the produce, the job is of a physical nature.

Retail or Café experience an advantage, but a willingness to learn and adapt is essential!

Approx 3 – 4 full days / week, with more days available by agreement during busy periods (May – August, Easter, October half term).

Rota by agreement but to potentially include every other Weekend.
Full days only approx 8.30 – 5.15, (6.15pm June – Aug).

Start date asap.

Pay dependent on age and experience.
