Halloween Farm Trail

The trail will be running throughout October half term. It will take you around the farm, completing tasks, challenges and puzzles!

It is suitable for children of all ages but most enjoyed by those between 3 and 13.

In fact there are two trails – one for pre-school children and one for those who are reading and writing. You can choose to do one, or both, and spend as long as you like on them.

It was such a beautifully planned day, for our 8,7 and 4 year old boys. The stages were so thoughtfully done and so clever, keeping the boys entertained to the end. Once we’d finished, the play area was a perfect place to stop and for the boys to continue to play. The cafe too was well stocked and had loads of yummy treats! What a great day!

Such a well thought out trail which was exciting and perfectly pitched for our 5 and 7 years olds to test themselves and succeed at each task. They thoroughly enjoyed the variety and interest at each activity and we will definitely hope to return if you do it again. Thanks for a fun afternoon.

Please read the information below before booking;

The trail is open daily over the holidays. The shop will be open too, as well as the cafe – serving hot and cold drinks and snacks.

All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Walk-in customers will be accommodated but only if there is availability, and will be charged an additional £1 per person.

Sorry but dogs are not permitted on the trail

We recommend sturdy footwear such as boots or wellies, as the trail is on grassy areas which may become wet or muddy. We won’t close for bad weather, so please dress appropriately for the conditions and perhaps bring spare clothes and shoes!

Pushchairs which can cope with uneven terrain are normally fine, but be aware that there may be mud or puddles in places and there may be some areas that you cannot enter.

Our pumpkin patch is located across the main road, and is being run as a separate event. If you wish to combine both on a single trip please book appropriate tickets for both. Allow up to an hour for pumpkin picking. You can relocate from one site to the other by car or foot, at your own risk, but wheelbarrows may not leave the pumpkin field. For this reason we recommend parking in the Pumpkin field if doing both and relocating by foot.
