Pumpkin Picking at Primrose Vale
PYO pumpkins on weekends throughout October and during Half term – until stocks run out!
There is a small charge to enter, but the cost will be redeemable in pumpkins – in contrast with some other farms!
We aim to have all of our pumpkins picked by the 31st, so please be aware that they are subject to availability. Don’t leave it too late!
Please read the information below before booking;
PYO pumpkins is ticketed to help keep numbers at sensible levels, and ensure we have enough parking! Tickets must be purchased in advance for specific time slots. This time slot is your entry time.
Walk-in customers will be accommodated but only if there is availability, and will be charged an additional £1 per person.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sorry but dogs are not permitted in the pumpkin fields
We recommend sturdy footwear such as boots or wellies, as the fields may become wet or muddy. We won’t close for bad weather, so please dress appropriately for the conditions and perhaps bring spare clothes and shoes!
Pushchairs which can cope with uneven terrain are normally fine, but be aware that there may be mud or puddles in places.
Pumpkin field location
Our Pumpkin Field is located to the East of the A46 Shurdington Road, on the opposite sid of the road to the farm shop.
Parking is available there – Please watch for signs on approach.
The pumpkins are where they grew – that means straggly vines, soil, and some weeds too. Come prepared – vines can have prickles, so gloves and boots are highly recommended!
