Primrose Vale seasonal staff application form
Permanent position. Horticultural Team Leader.
Immediate start.
This role involves overseeing and undertaking all aspects of horticultural work on our small but busy farm. Working alone and under own initiative during quieter periods, but managing the daily workload of up to 4 others for 8 months of the year, applicants must have a strong work ethic and organisational skills. Tasks are hugely varied – no two days are the same; but will include table top strawberry production; planting, maintenance and picking a wide variety of crops from currants to pumpkins, Christmas tree work, general farm repairs, and work on our popular farm trails. The role is not customer orientated, but we are a farm that is open to the public.
Training will be given, but an agricultural background would be useful, and soft fruit experience an advantage.
Work demands are seasonal by nature, and role could be recurring seasonal for the right applicant.
Accommodation is available (mobile home). Reasonable level of spoken English an advantage.
39hrs / week with more available throughout the summer.
